Split-level Studio Apartment

April 14, 2015

Stockholm Apartment | styling by Josefin Haag

The layout of this flat is kinda fun – the bedroom sits on a small platform above the living room, which is accessible by a little staircase and also houses a hidden closet. I’m not totally sure I could live with a black kitchen, but the living room I could quite happily transplant into my flat tomorrow.

Sourcebook: the shelves above the sofa are from string and the gold pendant in the dining room is by Atelje Lyktan Bumling. The New York poster is part of a series by David Ehrenstråhle. At present it is discontinued, but rumour has it there’s a reprint in the offing before the end of 2015! Similar maps of London, San Fran, Paris and Bombay can be found on his website My Guide To.

Oh it’s not mine! Much as I’d like to live here. It’s a flat that was previously for sale on the Swedish estate agent website Fantastic Frank.

Hi Jocelyn, I’ve done a bit of research but can’t find a source for the globe lamp! The best I can do is this tutorial which shows how to make your own at home (you’ll need to turn on Google translate). So frustrating, I want one too!

Hi, do you know where I can get the framed cat picture from? Thanks, Ross

Hi Ross, I’m afraid I don’t! I looked for it when writing the sourcebook but couldn’t find it anywhere. There are loads of similar ones if you search for “black cat print” on Etsy and NOTHS (or even Google) but nothing exactly the same 🙁 sorry!
